RenewableUK Health & Safety Training Standards & Approvals

Update July 2010

RenewableUK has made a commitment to ensuring that Health & Safety is given top priority in the wind energy and marine renewables sector. Promoting and delivering best practice health and safety training and competence standards is central to this commitment.

The attached document aims to provide a comprehensive update on the current state of play on the revisions to the existing RenewableUK training standards, the implementation of a new accreditation & approvals scheme and the development of a new basic health and safety qualification. It also sets out a list of FAQ's aimed at employers, workers and training providers. Click here to download.
