Planning for Wind Energy Conferences
BWEA, in conjunction with the DTI, has been running a series of free Regional Planning Conferences for Councillors and local authority Planning Officers to provide much needed information on the considerations to be made in plan making policy, case assessment and decision making, particularly after the publication of PPS22: Renewable Energy. The events were also designed to encourage positive engagement between the wind industry and the planning community and each event included a trip to a working wind farm. See below for details.
