RenewableUK has long-standing links with many bodies. This gives a brief snapshot of some of the key groups with which we are associated on your behalf and from which you indirectly benefit at no additional cost to you.

SRF (The Scottish Renewables Forum) (and indirectly, SPREG (The Scottish Parliamentary Renewable Energy Group)
RenewableUK's interests in Scotland are looked after by the Scottish Renewables Forum of which RenewableUK's CEO is a Director. RenewableUK makes a significant financial contribution to the SRF's finances.

EWEA (European Wind Energy Association)
EWEA is the voice of the wind industry - promoting the best interests of the sector in Europe and worldwide for the past 25 years. With more than 300 members from over 40 countries EWEA is the world's largest and most powerful renewable energy association.

PRASEG (the Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group)
As a core sponsor of PRASEG, we continue to actively participate in the Parliamentary Renewable and Sustainable Energy Group, in particular in their organisation of political party conference-related events.

AEP (Association of Electricity Producers)
RenewableUK is a member of the Association of Electricity Producers and participates in its committees, reporting back and passing on to RenewableUK members relevant information and material.

BCSE (Business Council for Sustainable Energy)
This is a new body of eight large energy companies, operated by David Green of the Combined Heat and Power Association. The CHPA and RenewableUK are named in its material as the two leading UK trade associations that BCSE 'will be working with and supporting'.

RenewableUK is also a member of SERA (Socialist Environment and Resources Association), BEA (British Energy Association) and also NASEG (the Welsh equivalent of PRASEG and SPREG).

RenewableUK governance
Board meetings will, where possible, be scheduled in proximity to the above events. Members are encouraged to consider standing for Board membership.
