Pre-conference reception

A networking reception, sponsored by E.ON UK, will be held the evening before the conference, to give delegates the opportunity to meet up, relax and enjoy unparalleled views over Westminster.

A raffle will be held during the reception to raise money for the RNLI with tickets costing just £5 each. The raffle will begin at 19.30 and prizes include:

  • SLP Energy: Tickets for 4 people in a box at Norwich City FC, with lunch at Delia's
  • SeaRoc: A day's sailing for 12 on Annabel-J
  • Ocean Prospect: a weekend windsurfing for 2
  • RPS: A day's deep sea fishing for up to 8 people on the south coast
  • OPT: A satellite navigation system
  • Npower renewables: £250 voucher for greenshop.co.uk
  • E.ON: Tickets for 4 people to see England v West Indies ODI at the Oval

We have a special one-off auction taking place at the start of the raffle. Lunar Energy has offered a corporate day for 4 people at 2Excel, the Aerobatic Team, worth £5000. You'll be able to fly in our outstanding, high performance, 2-seat Extra 300LP aircraft in specially designed formation flights, which can be as daring as you like. They'll design your sortie according to your personal limits, to make sure your experience will be unforgettable and enjoyable. So please bring along your bidding hat and we can raise even more money for the RNLI!

Travel

The Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre is situated in the heart of London, opposite the Houses of Parliament.

Getting there by tube

Westminster on Jubilee, Circle and District Lines (5 minutes walk)

Exit the station via the underground tunnel towards Parliament Square (exit 6). You will come to street level on Whitehall. Turn left into Parliament Square, cross the road ahead of you then turn right into Broad Sanctuary. The Centre is located on your right, directly opposite Westminster Abbey.

St James Park on Circle and District Lines (5 minutes walk)

Take the Broadway exit from the tube station and walk straight down Tothill Street. At the end of this street turn left and you will see the Centre directly in front of you.

Victoria on Victoria, Circle and District Lines (10 minutes walk)

Exit from the front of the station, turn right and walk down Victoria Street. At the end of Victoria Street is Broad Sanctuary, the Centre is on the left hand side opposite Westminster Abbey.
