BWEA teamed up with Regen SW, the renewable energy agency for the South West of England, to present a one day conference on wave and tidal energy

Nearly 250 delegates joined BWEA in addressing the changes to policy and finance that will be needed to get wave and tidal current technology to market. Presentations included perspectives from the marine renewables industry, manufacturing, the City, DTI and NGOs.

Key speakers included Stephen Timms MP, then UK Energy Minister; Tom Delay, Chief Executive of The Carbon Trust; Stephen Tindale, Executive Director, Greenpeace UK and many other industry figures. See the full programme.
