Employer Resources
Industry Resources on Skills, Training & Employment Issues
BWEA is taking leadership in facilitating action to address the UK wind, wave and tidal energy industries' skills needs. In 2008, BWEA commissioned Bain & Co. and SQW to investigate the future labour market and skills needs of the sector. These independent studies show that whilst there is a huge opportunity for 'green collar' jobs; in order to maximize employment benefits for the UK, both businesses and external stakeholders within the education landscape will have to work together to ensure delivery of the skills required suffices demand.
