The British Wind Energy Association's 20th annual conference - 'Switch on to Wind Power', held in Cardiff, Wales - was a landmark in the development of the wind energy industry both in the UK and abroad.
The papers presented in this volume are structured around the key areas in wind energy:
- working with Government
- public relations
- advances in technology
- developments in the planning process
BWEA20 introduced two new sessions: the first dedicated to the potential for offshore wind, and the second exploring export potential.
Leading practitioners and researchers in the wind industry presented papers including research findings and the latest in thinking on matters critical to the success of the international wind market.
