The British Wind Energy Association's 18th Annual Conference, held in Exeter, reflected the continuing increase in commercial activity in the field. The Conference was opened by the President of the Council of the British Wind Energy Association, the Hon Colin Moynihan, MP, and included presentations by invited international speakers on a range of contemporary issues. Wind Energy is a multi-disciplinary subject ranging from meteorology to civil engineering, from public relations to aerodynamica and from electrical engineering to economics. Papers were presented by leading researchers and industrialists in all the main areas.
