Courses in renewable energy

Academic members of the BWEA will be able to provide further information on the courses available through their institutions, in particular UMIST, CREST, the Open University and the University of Durham.

Renewables East is a joint partner in the POWER project (Pushing Offshore Wind Energy Regions) which has a significantly subsidised offshore training course (only £75 students and £150 all others) coming up. Click here for details, or click here for an application form.

Most universities offer courses in the areas of renewable energy and the environment, mainly as postgraduate studies but increasingly also at undergaduate level. You can visit the website of each university for postgraduate course information. The UCAS website offers a facility which lets you search by subject, university or geographical region for undergraduate courses.
