BWEA Connect - The networking event for renewables in the UK

BWEA Connect events are organised by BWEA and designed to provide networking opportunities, following a brief workshop on a topical subject. They are one of the key benefits of membership and are free of charge to attend. BWEA Connect events are designed to provide an opportunity to meet new people, conduct business or expand your knowledge of the industry.

The next BWEA Connect event, sponsored by Oceanteam Power & Umbilical Ltd, will take place in Aberdeen on the eve of the All-Energy exhibition and conference, which is supported by BWEA.

Interested in hosting BWEA Connect?

Hosting BWEA Connect provides a fantastic opportunity to raise the profile of your business to senior representatives of the UK renewables sector. The sponsor will be given the chance to give a 10 minute talk to attendees - a great chance to launch new projects and ideas to the sector.

BWEA Connect may be hosted and sponsored by members only and will be marketed as a BWEA event. The onus will be on the sponsor to organise the venue and catering, with close liaison with BWEA, but the event will remain a BWEA event. The location may vary between London, Edinburgh, and Cardiff, with the option to take it to Liverpool, Birmingham and Belfast in the future. A second speaker at each event will be arranged by BWEA.

The events will be advertised on the BWEA website but attendance will be by invitation only. Sponsors will be allowed to invite guests, but the guest list will be managed by and will remain the property of BWEA.

Prior to the evening event there will be a short informal workshop, the topic of which will be selected by BWEA.
