With Europe's largest wind energy resource(1) and a Government obligation on the electricity industry to supply 10% of electricity from renewables by 2010, an enormous market is emerging. BWEA has commissioned an independent survey of financiers, electricity suppliers, developers and others to assess their views on the current financial support mechanisms for wind and their effectiveness. BWEA is currently consulting with members in order to develop an industry position.
